Our philosophy

MyMediaTradingDesk was founded in 2013 to meet the upcoming needs of privately owned media agencies.

At the time there was growing talk in the trade press around Programmatic / RTB and how it was going to change the world of digital media buying.

Through our media sales business at the time, we realised that privately owned agencies would be quickly left behind in the tech grab that listed agencies were taking with their own DSPs and therefore, there’d be a lack of competitiveness and a drop in service at the “non CBA, Coles, Telstra end” of the Advertiser spectrum. Not a good era to be entering into for Marketers and Private Agencies!

Buying media programmatically is now common practice and although there is still a stigma in some pockets that “Programmatic Digital Advertising is for remnant cheap display banners on international websites”, those in the know realise that that is not the case. Through MyMediaTradingDesk and the tech platforms we access, we can respond to your briefs with cost efficient inventory measured to Cost Per Lead all the way through to premium programmatic guaranteed inventory on industry leading sites.

The addition of Audio (Spotify, Soundcloud), Native (Taboola, Outbrain), CatchupTV (7, 9, 10, SBS, Foxtel), Apps (Facebook, Insta, Pinterest, WhatsApp, etc), YouTube and other premium Video suppliers rounds out the ‘current’ programmatic offering but with new media added all the time, it’s worth asking for your specific needs (Programmatic TV or Outdoor anyone?!)

We work alongside Marketers themselves and also form the back end programmatic digital media operations of many Media, Marketing, Creative and Web Agencies.

From Private Schools to Political Parties and Government Health Campaigns to Hairdressing Franchises, the common element tying our customers together is that regardless of what their campaign goals were when they first came on board with MMTD, when they need more programmatic activity, they come back to MyMediaTradingDesk time and time again.
